| On the black background are sticked several different forms of paper in red, beige and brown and a patterned circle. In the centre there is a collage of the upper part of a woman's body and her arms and hands. Instead of a head there is a relief of wire. On the breast an metal object has been fixed, shaped like a horseshoe and connected to the wire it might be some kind of mechanism. On the left side of the picture is written in black letters "MATB" which is the russian word for mother. Also a back focus can be distinguished (superosed on the woman's left arm), that is used in Cinema. The model comes from the Friedrich Eduard Bilz's book, Das Neue Naturheilverfahren (publisher: Dresden-Radebeul-Leipzig : F. E. Bilz) published in 1882 (first edition). For the third edition in 1888, Bilz changed the focus of the book exclusively to natural healing, and this became the classic version of the text, which by 1938, had sold 3.5 million copies |
| Différentes formes de papier rouges, beiges et brunes, ainsi qu’un cercle, sont collés sur un fond noir. Au centre, on voit la partie supérieure d’un corps de femme dont la tête est remplacée par du fil en relief. Sur son sein gauche se situe un objet en métal , sorte de mécanisme en forme de fer à cheval. A gauche, on peut lire le mot russe « Mать » (=mère) inscrit sur une bande de papier beige. On distingue aussi une mire ( forme ronde en N/B) qui sert pour la mise au net par la caméra lors d'une prise de vue au cinéma. Le mannequin provient de l'ouvrage de Friedrich Eduard Bilz, Das Neue Naturheilverfahren (éditeur: Dresden-Radebeul-Leipzig : F. E. Bilz) publié en 1882 (1ère édition). Pour la troisième édition en 1888, Bilz changea l'objet du livre pour s'intéresser exclusivement à la guérison naturelle et devint ainsi la version classique du texte qui fut vendu à plus de 3.5 million d'exemplaires avant 1938. |
